Read-a-Thon The Bristow Run Read-a-Thon starts November 15th and ends November 30th. This year we are challenging our students to increase their *HOME* reading. Click here to dowload the instructions and a pledge sheet. If the Panthers read a combined total of 1 million minutes, Mr. Buchheit will camp out in the lobby with a tent. 	Go Green - BRES Recycles
	Cartridges for Kids Bristow Run PTO needs your support as we begin our new recycling program. Cartridges for Kids will pay BRES for used inkjet, laser, fax copier cartridges as well as cell phones, laptops, PDA's, iPods, video games, video games consols, digital cameras, DVD movies and GPS devices. Click here to see a complete list of acceptable products and their exchange value. Average prices range up to $2 for inkjet cartridges and from $1 to $25 for cell phones. Send your items into school with your children or drop them off yourself in the school lobby recycling bin next to the pencil machine. Terra Cycle Brigade Please send in any empty Capri Sun or other empty drink pouch. Terra Cycle pays us 2 cents per Capri Sun pouch and 1 cent for other brand pouches. Terra Cycle converts the pouches into cool new eco-friendly and affordable products such as tote bags, pencil cases, kites, shower curtains and backpacks. Turn in your pouches minus their straws in a ziploc bag every Friday to the Capri Sun recycle station.
