Box Tops and Fundraiser Shopping

The Bristow Run Elementary School PTO has many fundraising opportunities that allow us to meet the goals we have for the 2009 - 2010 school year. The funds collected from these activities help us to give stipends to the teachers for their classroom supplies as well as fund the Accelerated Math Program, the Enrichment Program, Reflections Program, and Odyssey of the Mind. The PTO depends on these fundraisers in order to provide our children the best environment for growth through the school year.

Shop online at some of your favorite retailers and help earn money for Bristow Run Elementary School. There are two great places to shop.

The Box Tops for Education Marketplace and Safeway's Escrip Program both work with your favorite national retailers. The retailers donate a percentage of your online purchases to your designated school. To participate, click on one of the links above. You will be re-directed to Marketplace or Escrips website where you first login and then click on a participating retailer's link.

This is a wonderful way to help Bristow Run earn money for Assemblies, Teacher Workshops, Smart Boards and much, much more.

Clip Box Tops and earn cash for Bristow Run Elementary with General Mills’ Box Tops for Education program! Save the Box Tops coupons on hundreds of your favorite products. See what products are eligible. Return them to your child’s teacher in an envelope marked “Box Tops.” The BRES coordinator will collect them and send them to General Mills. Each box top is worth 10¢. Twice a year we receive a check for each box top redeemed. Last year we earned $2200+.

You can help by saving and forwarding Tyson’s proofs of purchase to Bristow Run. Look in your grocer's freezer section for Tyson Products that display the Tyson Project A+™ logo. The label you save is easily identified by looking for the simple 1, 2, 3 program steps. Each label is worth 24¢ cash! Bristow Run will redeem them for FREE merchandise such as physical education equipment from Tyson’s Project A+ catalog. Send in your proofs of purchase to your child’s teacher.

Giant A+ Bonus Bucks

After you designate our school, each shopping trip at Giant using your Bonus Card earns CA$H for our school! It even works with purchases made online with Peapod by Giant. At the end of each month, these points determine our school's cash total which is automatically credited to its account. School totals are updated each month. Our school will receive a check at the end of the program. The Giant A+ Bonus Bucks Program will run from October 4, 2009 - April 2010. You MUST reselect Bristow Run each year. The designation does not carry over each year.

Harris Teeter

Harris Teeter’s Together In Education program is a fund raising program for schools (public or private - preschool through 12th grade) in our communities. When customers purchase select Harris Teeter Brand products using their VIC card, Harris Teeter contributes a percentage of those purchase dollars to the schools of their choice.
